Some Clarity on the why

I do what I do because I love connecting with people and solving problems!

Someone referred to me as the LEGO Serious Play guy - and whilst I have been called worse, I was flattered, it made me think I should take a minute and explain what I actually do.

I’ve connected with loads of new people recently, so here’s the actually what I do and why - the why is easy - I actually love solving problems and improving things.

With close to 20 years in tech, operations, and product delivery — plus time as a founder — I now work alongside leaders and teams when the pressure is on and clarity is lacking. I’ve seen how quickly priorities blur, energy drains, and alignment breaks down, and I know how to turn that around.

My work focuses on three areas:

1️⃣ Energy-Led Clarity Coaching (ICF ACC)

Energy isn't woo woo. its about how you show up and and how you act and treat yourself and others.

I work with founders, execs and leaders who want clarity and want to act on it. Coaching with me, is hands on - yes occasionally using LEGO, visual and engaging. Together we cut through the noise, uncover what’s really going on, and create realistic, actionable steps that build clarity, energy, and confidence to move forward.

2️⃣ Team Optimisation

I get amazing results when I work with operational and delivery teams who want to reset and thrive. Practical diagnostics, workshops, and ongoing support build alignment, clarity, and collaboration while strengthening product delivery and day to day practices. This is purely about continuous improvement. The result: sharper priorities, stronger collaboration, and ways of working that stick.

3️⃣ LEGO® Serious Play® Labs

I tailor and delivery hands-on workshops that surface new thinking, spark better conversations, and help teams solve problems in a different way. Whether it’s strategy, values, or innovation, these sessions give every voice a platform and unlock insights that don’t surface in everyday meetings. I have created a series of workshops that have been tried and tested over 100 times and the outcomes are always leaving a lasting impact.

There's a patten here...

The thread running through all of this: Its all about people. AI is changing how we work thers no doubt, whatever we do, lets not forget there’s people behind everything we do. Im a true generalist with people at heart

So whether its using LEGO to build a new strategy with a C Suite in Europe, working with a consulting company in India, delivering training or workshops about AI, or working closely 1 to 1 with a founder who is scaling - its always about the people.

My approach is always visual, hands-on, and engaging — designed to make ideas stick and get people fully involved.

Time for a proper reintroduction I have been told.
